Dedicated to feeding those in in need within our local communities.
The Scotty Thrift Store
Open Tuesday and Thursday 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM and Wednesday 4:00 - 6:30 PM
The Scotty Thrift Shop is a ministry of Divine Mercy Parish and the Mission of Saint Bernadette, dedicated to serving the local community. We offer gently used clothing and household items, donated by generous supporters, at affordable prices—ensuring a dignified shopping experience for all.
Proceeds from the shop support the mission of Christ and His Church through our parish’s ministries of worship, evangelization, and caring for those in need.

Senior Luncheons
Monthly at Sacred Heart and Divine Mercy
Join us for a delicious meal and the fellowship of other seniors.
Sign up by contacting the parish offices or by using the sign-up sheets at the welcome centers as they become available.
Luncheons begin at noon.
Dates are:

Sandwich Making
Monthly
Both parishes engage in monthly events to make sandwiches for the Assumption Soup Kitchen and Catholic Charities Men's Shelter in Syracuse.

Thanksgiving Meal for Those in Need
November 24th beginning at 11:30 AM at both Sacred Heart and Divine Mercy
Consider lending a hand as both of our parishes prepare hot Thanksgiving meals in to-go containers for the needy in our community.
Reach out to the parish office if you'd like to help.
Sign-ups for the meal will be available at each parish through their respective food pantries.
Seminarian Giving Tree
October 19th - November 3rd
Pictures of Seminarians from our diocese will be displayed on cards hanging from a tree in each narthex. Parishioners are encouraged to take a card and buy either a gas card or gift card for each person.
Seminarians spend years in school and driving long distances. This helps them a little with that cost and lets them know that they are in our prayers.
Easter Meals for Those in Need
April 20th beginning at 12:00 PM
Consider lending a hand as both of our parishes prepare hot meals to celebrate Easter in to-go containers for the needy in our community.

Sign-ups for the meal will be available at each parish through their respective food pantries.
